There are various types of performance competitions held in many countries around the world to find out the potential of creative youth and realizing exchange of experiences. Azerbaijan started holding this type of creative competition since 2012.

The International Competition of Young Performers (under 20) of classical music among the countries of the Islamic World organized and continued so far with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ISESCO and with the participation of Baku Music Academy named after U. Hajibayli has been standing on stable supports towards this goal.
